Episode 2 Non-Spoiling Preview

Call me crazy, I think James might just take this one. ;) His muscles have muscles. Hallelujah.

Here's what the nice, hardworking folks from CBS would like us all to know:

THE CASTAWAYS GET PHYSICAL ON "SURVIVOR: CHINA"
THURSDAY, SEPT. 27, 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT

"My Mom Is Going To Kill Me!" – The castaways get physical as mud flies and tops are ripped off...
***OK, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that Ashley (the wrestler chick) is either the ripper or the rippee. Perv-Cam likes her boobs way too much for it to be any other way.
...in one of the most physical and dirtiest challenges in Survivor history. A vulnerable castaway believes she’s received a gift from God. The second person is voted off the island, on SURVIVOR: CHINA, Thursday, Sept. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

CASTAWAYS:

ZHAN HU TRIBE: Dave Cruser, Jaime Dugan, Erik Huffman, Peih-Gee Law, Sherea Lloyd, Ashley Massaro, Chicken Morris (1st Voted Off), Frosti Zernow

FEI LONG TRIBE: Jean-Robert Bellande, James Clement, Todd Herzog, Amanda Kimmel, Denise Martin, Leslie Nease, Aaron Reisberger, Courtney Yates

James definitely is ten up in the muscle department. I would be soooo mad if I was stuck with one top and someone ripped it off. There is only so much you can cover with that bandana thing if you are blessed/cursed with big breasts. I would be trying to make Survivors first bamboo bra.

Carolyn, I'm cracking up over your prediction that Ashley will be the ripper or rippee. After watching previews of next weeks episode, I groaned and mumbled about how I'd predicted that we were going to be seeing ALOT more of the castaways than we'd probably like-LOL!! I'm thinkin' Sherea was down to her bra and unders the first day so she's a shoe in for flashing, but the other gals are none too outfitted for this activity either.

Might I say, however, that of all the guys that showed up in their skivvies for the first challenge James looked particularly good sporting his black boxer briefs. My goodness he's nice to look at!

Bamboo bras...LOL! Where's a good underwire cocoa nut, when you need one, huh?

And I coulda gone another nine months without hearing about *slop*... but I had surgery yesterday - and guess what I'm eating??? They gave me good drugs though... so I'm delusionally calling my slop, pate'.

And do tell... what's up with our Survivors having "just the clothes on your back"? Are they going to have to "earn" clothing?

Guess we're back to bamboo....?

I'm here. ;-)

I haven't been on many blogs since the wrap up from last week's BB. I'm preparing for a Eurotrip but my oldest kitty is ailing and I need to take her for an Ultrasound tomorrow so my mind has been all over the place.

I also had no clue that there was so much chatter in between shows on Survivor. After all there are no Live Feeds... what could people talk about all week long? But I see that this site is busy. I'll now bookmark it and make a daily visit to check in. I am a reality show freak... favorite being BB due to LF and now BBAD. Otherwise I am a sucker for... Survivor, Bachelor/ette, The Amazing Race, and a couple of others.

I'm curious...

Where do you all live? I know a couple, obviously, from their names?

I'm from West LA... also known as WLA (but that reminds me of a certain AP person. ;-0)

I am curious about your state. Is it really cold winter time? I ended up in sunny California for a reason after escaping the dark and cold Swedish winters... have loved living in LA... but now quality of life is not what it has been due to traffic and cost of living. Easier said than done to move... but I am tempted. Just don't know where to. :-?.

I took the Greyhound from NYC to Calif when first moving here. That was 72 hours non stop. Ouch. Very interesting though... lots of states passed through.

Anybody who would truly recommend a state to live in out there? Just curious.

in case you haven't noticed yet, i removed comment moderation from this site... it's a much more intimate setting, so i'll keep it off as long as it stays that way... and that way, you wont have to wait on me to moderate, and you can talk a bit more easily.

Tella- It is freezing in the winter. There are days when you'd be lucky to see -5 degrees for a high. But it is wonderful having all four seasons. I've lived in Arizona and Florida and it was hard for me to get used to the warm weather all the time. Christmas was odd with no snow.

(I thought it was funny when they just pulled Ashley through the mud like she was a little kid on her Daddy's ankles!)

I live in downtown Baltimore, Maryland, in a quaint/historical area called Fells Point. I grew up in the suburbs near Annapolis, Maryland... Went to college in the panhandle of Texas...

Florida...

Couldn't deal with the humidity. How do you do it Carolyn?

From what I know of Maryland there are many lovely places... spent some time outside DC. Never been to Baltimore. Should check it out. Have a feeling the climate may be similar to Toronto or Ottawa where I have lived as well.

Texas...

Have heard Austin is great.

EG

I agree with the seasons and sunny warm Christmas time... it was very odd since I grew up with snow around that time of the year. Don't think I could deal with that COLD though. :Sigh:.

Anybody from Colorado, Montana or Idaho out there? Is it very cold wintertime as well?

Thanks for 'playing along'.

tella ~ Yes, Austin is the only "cool" city in Texas! I was out in Lubbock where it's dry & flat. I won't mention anything about Crawford, ha ha!

Maryland is a great state -- it's like a little America with mountains, beach, farms, cities, suburbs. I like it. I like the water most of all! It does get too cold for me here though. Brrr! I'm gonna miss Summer!

Tella, I'd vote for my own Washington state and not just because I'm biased. Because I was a Vietnam Era Vet and did a seond tour in the good ole US Army, I've lived all over the states and Europe, including the LA/Hollywood area for a few years. What I missed wherever I lived, with the exception of Germany, was all 4 seasons.

Now, I'm in Central/Eastern WA and with emphysema it's the worse place to live for me because it does get quite hot here in the summer (95-105°) and quite cold in the winter (it can get below 0° but usually hovers around the 30-40's). If you like it hot, come here. If not head to the Spokane area. They get more snow than we do or the West coasties do, but the Westies really have to put up with alot of rain (like the Portland area, where I also lived for 11 years).

It's one of the most important decisions someone has to make so good luck with it.
