I'm such a loser. I watch Survivor, Ugly Betty AND My Name Is Earl/The Office.

Glad there isn't anything I care to see on Fox. The DVR and VCR are all working like crazy.

This episode bored me.

And I hate Leslie more.

Yikes I better not read anymore on here or the show will be spoiled for me before it even comes on here. I can't wait to see the mud challenge.

I must watch CSI after Survivor and then I'll probably be too tired to think straight so I'll have to catch up with y'all tomorrow.

Cliff, two nights a week I have 2 VCRs going while I watch a third channel-LOL!!! WHAT did we do before TV?

Enjoy your evening everyone!

Loved the show, especially the reward challenge. I can't wait to see it again on CBS innertube. Glad to see my pick for the season James do so well. Interesting spin on the individual immunity idol, very interesting indeed. I much would have preferred to see Dave go over Ashley, but hey... he did instruct/build an awesome fire place. Note: one of the only things left when tribe returned to camp, so I guess I can see why Ashley got voted out.

Thanks again for the Dish!

Just testing! I was a late-comer to the BB8Dish site so I was really happy to see that Carolyn was doing this as well.

Soooooo....James is def my favorite hopefully he won't disappoint. And man, was Todd in the right place at the right time or what with Leslie wanting to team up w/him. He's gonna be a weasel - I love it!!!

next weeks episode looks interesting.....re: Courtney hearing the guys say she should go first...uh, YEAH!!!!

Oh, my Toddie is doin' it. But I'm sure it'll do him in before all is said and done!

As for what we did before TV, well I would read Dickens with one eye, Dostoyevsky with the other, would tap out Mozart with my feet and paint crude cave drawings with my left hand while making a creme bruleƩ with my right.

I still like Frosti. And, Leslie was an idiot for telling Todd about the immunity hint. I seriously don't get Jean-R's "plan"... doesn't sound like a good one to me!

David B -- I think you're correct. And, not a good job!

AH, the old days of worrying if I was going to forget a show to tape or that someone would tape over my shows....for those out there I have a glorious word for you it is DVR.....it can record two things at the same time if you turn off the tv or watch one of the two programs and it can tape and hold multiple series in it for as long as you want and has pretty good sized storage...for the $5 each month (we have two due to the high volumes of sports and reality shows we watch) it costs from the cable company it is our family favorite and most cost effective luxury.

Sweet Tigress

I agree with you... Tivo and DVR are a gift sent from heaven. Don't know what I would do without it. Had to watch Survivor, then CSI and Grey's. Both CSI and Grey's were amazing. I am glad Sara is still alive and with Grissom, and the writing on Grey's is as always fantabulous.

Survivor... China is beautiful from what we are shown. I loved that it rained on them all so much. The Bible chick is annoying me... but time will tell. I personally couldn't wait to see Ashley go. For a wrestler she showed that that 'sport' is pretty much a fake. Or her strength lies anywhere but in the floaters she has. At least she wouldn't drown. Sorry, me bad. It made sense to let her go before Dave because he is stronger. Maybe they can have a fast forward... sorry wrong show. ;-)

James still a big time favorite. Hope he lasts a while, and there are two females I'd like gone from his tribe if they lose.

Heck, I can't remember life before DVR. And iTunes.

I just need a DVR that can record four channels at once.

And thank goodness that cable shows repeat their programming overnight.

I have a serious problem.

I had my DVR recording Ugly Betty while I was watching Survivor. It's handy because I always have shows on at the same time. And my family always seems to call right in the middle of any show I am really into. I love that I can pause live TV. There are times I record just so I can forward through all the stupid commercials.

I'm so glad the wrestler is gone! She just bothered me.

James & Frosti are still goin' strong. I wish I found a girl that looked like she might make it to the finals - We know Leslie will never make it! There is NO trust in Survivor - wake up Leslie!

Todd seems to know how to play the game, but he's way to cocky. The other players aren't gonna like him once they figure this out!

Have a great weekend Carolyn! :<)

sorta off topic: I hate it when companies try to sue DVR etc makers for auto-commerical skip features. If I am paying fir sattellitte I will skip ads if i want to

I LOVED the challenge and was glad I taped it so I could watch it again and laugh some more. I applaud all of them because I wouldn't have tried that even if I had my son's football gear on-LOL!! I liked how everyone had these painful or freaked out expressions on their faces.....and then there's James-LOL!! The man is just a powerhouse with little facial expression; he makes everything look too easy.

Ashley was kinda getting on my nerves but I think Dave managed to get on my last one with his dictator form of management, but hey, he did build the only thing left standing or still there after all the rain. No one really made me dislike them this week or want to root for them this week.

OH, and I can't believe clues to the immunity idol came into play so fast....bad move sharing that info Leslie(sp).

Oh you guys, I CAN get a DVR for my satellite but I still can't tape one channel while watching another on the same TV so why spend the extra money I don't have. When they come out with something that will allow you to do that I'll be first in line. I know it has some awesome features, like pause, but I'm usually out cold while my shows are taping anyway :-) I'm pretty sure TIVO doesn't have that feature either.

Cliff - hey pal, just because we watch alot of TV doesn't make us losers-LOL!!! Granted, I tell myself alot that I need to get a life, but with my disability this IS my life right now and it's better than alot of alternatives
:-)

Well, speaking of TV shows on tape, I guess I better go watch some so I'll have tapes ready for next week.

Have a great one ya'll.

I just wanted to remember to give a huge shout out to Carolyn for doing such an awesome job on this and Big Brother. This is my first year here and it certainly won't be my last year. Girl you need to get paid to do this if you aren't you would be so much better on these shows and sites that cover the reality shows than the people they have now because you get to the heart of the subject, you have favorites but you respect everyone's opinion and try to see their favorites from a good point of view also. Eric would be awesome for your co-host. Keep up the GREAT work and know it is very much appreciated by many many people like myself (I cannot for some reason get the live feeds no matter what I try).

I am loving James. He just seems to be so deserving of a million. We'll see though, the deserving ones usually don't win, like with Ozzy and Yau-man from past seasons.

I just got fiber optics installed and the DVR from at&t is a 4 tuner. It's brilliant for when you have a billion shows on the same time.

Leslie is still getting on my nerves. They didn't edit Courtney into the show this week too much, but she still irks me. I'm liking Amanda and hope she does well. Oh and Dave and Jean R can go away :)

LOL, my praise Carolyn was much belated due to the high volume of shows I was watching before Big Brother went off the air so I thought it was about time I thanked you now that my spinning head can think right again. :)

Hi Carolyn...

I gotta say, I'm with you. And this took me until Monday!

I watched on Thursday, shook my head when it was over with, and went to bed thinking something was wrong with me.

"Former" Dave is certainly no leader... but I was really frustrated with everyone else *asking* him if they couldn't just start a small fire away from his firepit, to get some food cookin'. Why didn't they *just DO it*??? Yikes!

Friday I watched it again thinking I'd have a different take on things...not! I just found more to be irritable about.

I recognize it's difficult to come off of an incredible BB8 season...into another "reality" show, but so far this season's Survivor is far too production-heavy & not enough player-dynamics for me.

We'll see...

Still could be me.
