Episode 6

Wow.. 6 weeks in. That means we're 6 weeks out of the other one... and I'm still pooped.

On with the show. Apparently we're going to be treated to a special Courtney upchuck tonight. Oh boy. I can hardly wait.

I just hope James somehow survives the week...

As the show opens, James is playing the workhorse, thinking he should let them rest so they have no excuse to be tired at a challenge, and that this might save him.

My hopes are fading.

Were I James, in lieu of being traded to the other team after the reward challenge, which may or may not happen, I would sit my butt down during the immunity challenge, and tell my old team, point blank, "You need to lose this challenge if you want anyone from Fei Long to survive to the end."

OK.. phew.. Fei Long won reward and kidnapped James. Whether or not he helped that happen remains to be seen. Here's hoping he'll take the opportunity to tell them what's up... and he does. Along with giving Todd the idol clue, which Todd finds and gives to James.

The immunity challenge didn't go quite as planned, but it should be as easy as voting Sherea out and leaving the Fei Long numbers strong. I say Sherea because Frosti is more valuable, and has proven himself in a challenge or two... and I like him.

If they can come to this agreement, it's actually better for them, because then the immunity idol stays in play. It would have been a shame to waste it so quickly.

PLEASE tell me little miss do absolutely nothing has no pull tonight. PLEASE. Courtney does not deserve to make this decision. In addition to being useless, she's a horrible strategist.

OK.. I'm not gonna blow it for the west coast before it airs... Just a warning, the comments section will.

Next Week: "Drop your Buffs." Dare we say...MERGE!

I still have 2:45 before I can watch the show, but I hope you're right Carolyn and that James can make contact with someone from his old tribe. Personally I can't wait to see the other camps faces when they see Aaron missing. That alone should wake some people up. We can always hope anyway.

I so don't want to see James go and if the Immunity Challenge is the gross eating deal I can see it being thrown with absolutely no remorse by PG and Jamie. What a sorry way for a great player to go! Hmph!

Oh my gosh if James competes to win immunity for Fei Long then that could mean he's finished in Zhan Hou loses.

Why could Todd and Amanda search after everyone sleeps? Serves them right!

8:40- What a difference a segment makes. Zhan Hou has immunity, James has access to two idols, and J-R might have given his creepy swan song at the Charmin Teahouse & Bath.

I agreed with you Carolyn that Courteney shouldn't make this decision.

Regardless of the decision (fingers crossed it's Sherea), I'm on Team Denise and James!

Courtney's a worse strategist than W.

OMG! WOw does Sherea have an inflated sense of self worth or what?!?!!?

8:56pm: Wahooooo! I love that Tribal Council seems to influence the vote. How cool would it be if the BB HGs got to air grievances a la Tribal Council style. I guess it would be too much interference.

FINALLY! Sherea's gone and Courtney's on the outs! YES!

Overall, it was a satisfying episode. James went from precarious to living to see another day! And reuniting with his mates in the merge!

did you happen to catch if frosti voted to oust sherea or not?

6:00 PM
Blogger Monika Fabian said...

Frosti did. He had to, if you think about it. Court & sherea were the only J.R. votes. You could tell that it would be that way just because their votes were read first.

Hey all! Sorry I missed y'all last week. Was out of the country on vay cay and I didn't wanna get spoiled!

This was the most exciting episode in forever! I was on pins and needles! (Ooh, and on that note, how much do I love that Project Runway returns soon!)

That Todd needs to be a third party to my marriage. (Hey, if it works for the folks on Big Love ...)

To quote Jack McFarland, "What you have is a pocket gay. The perfect travel sized homosexual. Just pop him in a man purse, a briefcase, and you're good to go. In ten years, they'll be making them all the way."

Okay, James has become a HUGE power player in the game - strategically speaking, he's always been a force in the challenges. I suspect by the next episode he will have both hidden idols. I think that will be a Survivor first.

If Todd and Amanda are smart, they will convince PG and company to vote for James - continuing their plan to elimate members from the other tribe using the hidden idol, deflecting the damage from directly effecting them.

I'd never make a great strategist but wouldn't it have made more sense to vote Frosti off after he found out about the idol instead of Sherea? Granted, her ego and mouth were getting bigger than the Great Wall but she wasn't as big of a threat as Frosti might be?

I couldn't tell from the previews of next week if Jaime and Erik found the idol in their camp or in James' stuff. Anyone have a clue?

I died laughing at Scout's (Survivor's Strike Back Blog on CBS) assessment of our perspective on nakedness. Alot of us were grossed out by Richard Hatch, Dave this season was no improvement and was downright painful to watch. Yet, James showers in the buff and even usually quiet Denise comments on it. How many others were hoping for more?-LOL!!! Okay, I was and I'll admit it. I'm just darned glad he survived to play another week.

Carolyn, happy belated Birthday.

Wow. I was just finally able to tear my eyes from the screen and the amazing sight of James all soapy. (Fanning) Holy Cow. Did anything else happen this episode? :)

Thanks again for the blogging... I love this show! Sharea is gone, but my pick to win the season is still on. GO JAMES GO!!! I'm so glad he got the chance to tell his "old" tribe-mates what was going on. What a lark that James took the immunity idol with him. I loved it, oh the irony! Oh, the humanity of it all! Thanks again Carolyn, at least this isn't everyday like BB8.

Cheers,
Heather
