Hmm.. the beginning of the episode really underscores my dislike of Courtney, and were it not for the merge we're all expecting tonight, she'd very likely be next out... at least in my fantasy life. But tonight's merge, so strong players, beware. My gut instinct says if tonight is the first individual immunity, whichever of Frosti or James that doesn't win it, is toast.
Whoops.. forgot about James' 2 idols.
Aaaaack~ Jamie searched through James' bag and found the idols...
8:18pm Merge & Feast & Cool Chinese Acrobat Show.... and a warning from Jeff: "This game never ends."
He meant it. The immunity challenge was based on how much attn people paid during the Merge Feast. Frosti won the first individual immunity. If James still has his idols, my paragraph one predictions are already toast. ;)

Wow! What a great episode. Survivor China is the best Survivor in years. Talk about a nail biter of a tribal council - complete with as much tension & drama as any producer could possibly pack into 5 minutes.
I'm still loving James, Frosti and Todd... and wishing Courtney would be the next out. Jean Robert is right about her. She's now most likely to make it to the final whatever without ever doing anything.

If tonight's merge, and 1st individual immunity, whichever of frosti or james doesn't win, is toast.. imho.
I just hope Jamie and Eric doesn't find Zhan's idol.

8:24pm: Ummm, did I understand Jamie said in confessional that she has an immunity idol? And hehehe, I loved how Todd hugged up on Frosti. I think it's in their best interest not to get drunk or gorge themselves on the feast.
No C, it began as of the next morning. So it never showed if she stole it or what took place.
but james said hers had no writing on it... n'est-ce pas?

Am soooo glad to see the idol that isn't an idol being played! I would have felt so cheated otherwise!
And I had no idea how it was all going to shake out.
Really can't stand Courtney and her "Hey Jen Did That First!" Patented Eye-Roll. When Jeff asked her why she was doing that, I thought she'd say, "Because I'm required to do so every ten minutes. It says so in my contract!"
But Jamie going through James' bag? No way! Not cool, dude! Most harsh!

i love jaime and erik. Im so mad that jaime left tonight, but shes so dumb....she didnt even think to look at the other ones she took out of james bag. i hope PG ang Erik go far, but i highly doubt that.

This has got to be my favorite all time season of Survivor ever!!! Tonights episode was totally righteous! When Jeff threw that 'fake' immunity idol into the fire I laughed so hard. Go James Go!!!

I guess I'm the only one that feels like it's time for J-R to go! Courtney gets on my nerves, but I do agree that he is an idiot! James was exactly right when he said he just talks too much! I can't stand J-R, and I'm disappointed that Jaimie went and not J-R. Frosti rocks! And Todd is getting a little annoying, but I really wish they would show more Erik! He's HOTT! P-G is the next one gone! She another know-it-all that is more annoying than Todd! Frankly, Todd does know-it-all!
And did anyone else blanche when they heard James' comment about Courtney?! I was shocked that CBS didn't bleep that! I had to play it back on my DVR three times because I didn't believe my ears!

Uh Cliff, you have some good ears.......just like mine. I had to push my open mouth closed with my hand I was in so much shock. I'm wondering if maybe they didn't understand what he said and therefore, didn't edit it.
I think I'll go watch that one part again real quick and then maybe get brave enough to post it verbatim.
I'm really thinking that he meant to use the ole phrase of 'any Tom, Dick or Harry' but man it didn't come out that way. Here it is:
James in sitting in the river and says:
We've got to watch out for Courtney because she's a loose cannon. She swings off and falls in love with any dick or harry dick that floats a smile at her but DAMN! You don't get friends on Survivor, this ain't "Love Connection".
Then it went back to Courtney and Frosti getting real touchy with each other. So, how did I do Cliff?-LOL!!!
Actually, I turned the sound off and wrote down what the captioning said, then compared it to what he said as he spoke. The two didn't come close, but close enough that I don't think they thought anything about it.
I think James just gets his talk all mixed up sometimes, which is pretty funny in alot of cases.
Cliff, I know you like your Toddie, but if he messes with James next week, I may have to hope his goose is cooked-LOL!!

That was the best when Jamie used the "fake idol," but it turns out she knew it was fake all along and just wanted to mess with Jean Robert. I'm still glad the producers make it appear the way they did even though they distorted the truth, it made for great TV. And you can't steal immunity idols from players. That would be pretty unfair. However, I'm glad you can look in other people's bags to find out. All they someone has to do is not hide it in their bag. Remember Mookie? He hid it elsewhere to keep it a secret.
What I don't understand is why Todd doesn't make James give him one of the hidden idols. If it wasn't for him, James wouldn't have either.
CAROLYN!!! On EW.com under the strike updates, it says that big brother will likely start in january to make up for all the shows that cant survive without writers. HOPEFULLY it will happen and theyre thinking about adding extra tv nights
