Episode 4 Survivor Fans v Favorites

Could that have been a more perfect episode? Aquaman Ozzy at his finest! Underwater, the way nature intended, and then making quick work of scoring himself the immunity idol. Just beautiful. Clever too - making the phony idol.

As far as I was concerned, the episode ended as soon as the favorites won immunity. They were poetry in motion during that challenge. It's terrible, I guess, but I still don't give a hoot about any of the fans. I'm sure they're lovely people, but in terms of the game... I just don't care.

As long as my favorites are safe, I'm a happy camper. They were. I am. End of story.

Almost... I really have to give kudos to James for figuring out the puzzle! How much of a nice surprise was that?!

I'm looking forward to seeing your thoughts in the comment section.

Episode 3 Survivor Fans v Faves
Et Tu Cirie

OK.. the feeds just cut out on BB a couple minutes ago, so with any luck I'll actually get to do this week of Survivor. Trying to do both is.. well.. nuts. BB is rather all encompassing, as you can imagine.

Anyhow, I was planning all day to come over here and extend my apologies, but this may just work out. Long may the Nomination Ceremony take!

10 Minutes till Episode #3... Let's see if I can actually get to watch it and blog it this time!
~*~

Great episode. Horrible outcome! Et tu, Cirie? :(

As always, Burnett and company outdid themselves with incredible, intense comps, superb editing and gorgeous footage. Cirie was once again in a pivotal role, but I can't say I'm happy with the result.

Do I still adore her? Absolutely.

I'm definitely rooting for the favorites, and each time we lose one, it's just awful, but why Yau? Why now? It doesn't make any sense. Now isn't the time for personal advancement, now is the time for team building, and keeping the strongest.

Yau's prowess is not limited to the mental - not by a long shot. Because of his extreme mental strength, he is also able to make himself an asset physically, because he understands and implements the physics necessary for the events.

Big mistake, favorites. Big mistake.

Shame on the lot of you.

Well, the ones who voted him out anyway.

Heck, I'm just happy the BB Nomination Ceremony allowed me to watch & come blog Survivor this week. :) Can't wait to read your thoughts on the episode.

<3,
Carolyn

Survivor Fans v Faves: Episode 2

I'm hoping the BB house will calm down long enough for me to watch Survivor tonight. With the way they've been on the live feeds, though, it's anyone's guess. Still, I'm opening the post for those of you who come, and if I'm not able to do it tonight, I'll watch while they're sleeping (or during a comp), and come blog about it then.

BB just exploded again... I'm gonna have to do Survivor later. Sorry guys.

Survivor Micronesia - Episode 1
"The Greatest Player in the History of the Game"

10 minutes till the premiere of Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs Favorites!

I'm opening the post so everyone can comment while the show's on, but I wont be blogging on top here till after the premiere of Survivor is over, and I can collect my thoughts. (scroll down a little - it's complete now)

That's assuming my brain is still functioning... I woke up around 1am this morning, and I've been working on the BB blog ever since.

Hopefully there'll be a running play by play in the comments section... they're usually is. :) Provided by you...

Enjoy the show!!

Quote of the night:
Fairplay: "I consider myself the greatest player in the history of the game."

Then again, maybe not. I'm not buying for a second that he really wanted to go home. Not one hot second. No matter how he tried to spin it. I'm just thrilled the rest of the favorites didn't get suckered in again. The editing really had me going.

But getting back to the meat of the show...

Every time one of the favorites was introduced, I was sitting here going, I love him! I love her! Especially Ozzie and Jonathan and Yau Man... just seeing them all again makes me smile.

And then there's James, who has a much more profound effect. Mm Mm Good. James is the new Cambell's soup. Hard to resist and absolutely delicious.

And then there was Fairplay... Well, I'm loving Fan Tracy! "I'd love to kick him."

At the moment, she's the only fan I remember by name. We didn't really get to spend too much time with them. The only other one who made a big impression was the I'm shocked she's not a lesbian golf sales woman.. and it wasn't a good impression. More of an "Oh dear lord' how fast can they lose something and cut her loose?

Speaking of losing - I was stunned the favorites completely blew it. Too much cocky, not enough initial effort. James & Jonathan tried their darndest to make up for all that lost time, but it just wasn't enough with puzzles on both ends of the Immunity Competition.

Speaking of immunity.. the whoever finds it and grabs it first had potential, but fell flat - as usual with the immunity idol.

All in all, a gorgeous and extremely enjoyable Season Premiere of Survivor. Time well spent!

Survivor Fans V Faves Clip

Hi everyone. :) I've been going a little nuts with getting ready for Big Brother, but I wanted to let you know SurvivorDish will be active for this season. :) I was just over CBS looking for some clips, and I found this one. I thought it was excellent, and I hope you enjoy it.

I'm curious - what is your natural predilection? To root for the newbies or the old pros?
